The 2008 Workshop Proceedings will be published by www.acm.org available from the Digital Library.

Send your extended abstract submission to SheldonFT@ornl.gov by March 3, 2008 (final revisions are due May 9, 2008).

Submissions are governed by the Association of Computing Machinery International Conference Proceedings Series guidelines and policies: We have abstracted the essential requirements as follows.

The ACM copy right release form is required. Please fax us the signed release at 865-576-5943 or email Cristal Case by May 9 2008.

To help you produce your extended abstract in a familiar ACM style while at the same time providing the files needed for the ACM Digital Library, please try using one of the templates. The word template is here (use 11point font).

Further, apply ACM Computing Classification categories and terms.

All submissions shall include an extended abstract (up to 3 pages) due March 3 March 17 and presentation slides (up to 10 pages, 2 slides/page) due May 9. Carefully consider the points below:

a. You must generate PDFs for the Digital Library (though ACM can accept .ppt files as is).

b. They should have thumbnails and they should be optimized for fast web viewing.

c. They should have the copyright statement and bibliographic strip on the bottom of the first page left column (without border). This statement is not needed for the slides.

To copy otherwise, to republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.

d. We will paginate the volume (mating your abstract file with your slides file). Therefore, you must not use page numbering in your extended abstracts. Slide numbering where the page number is contained within the slide (and not on the page containing two slides per page) is acceptable.

e. All submitted files must use Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). All fonts must be embedded within the PDF file.

f. Your submitted files should be named using the convention: firstauthorlastname-abstract.pdf and firstauthorlastname-slides.pdf
